Hello everyone!

I have now been Miss Rodeo Utah for 5 months. From the very first moment that crown was placed on my head during the July 25th Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo, I hit the ground running at amazing speed and haven’t come up for air even yet! So far I have logged almost 13,000 travel miles in the Miss Rodeo Utah truck, and of course that doesn’t include my miles traveled by air. In that time, besides traveling all over Utah, I have also gone to rodeos in Cheyenne – WY, Huron – SD, Denver – CO, plus competed in the Miss Rodeo America pageant in Las Vegas, NV.

I have heard from so many of you asking when I was going start telling about my journeys and experiences, and of course also about posting some of my mom’s amazing photos. I can not even begin to tell you how grateful I am for the interest! I am sorry that it has taken so long for me to post, but I have been so wonderfully living all of the experiences so I would have many, many things to tell you about – but because I have been going at full speed to gain all of these experiences, that hasn’t left me time to write about them! Now that the Miss Rodeo America pageant is behind us and I can think for a half a second, I am going to start writing. Therefore, I have A LOT to say, plus even more in pictures (literally thousands!) Over the next few weeks, I am going cram and overload you with my journey from these past 5 months. Keep watching this blog for those postings, as I hope now to be able to catch up on the previous five months quickly because I think the future seven will be even more packed. And if you see anything you like, PLEASE comment so that I know you are out there. Also if you haven’t already done so, please go in and “like” the Miss Rodeo Utah Facebook page because that will be another spot that I can (and will) post even more pictures. I am going to start with Day #1 and continue on to the present – so while much of it now will seem like old news, the telling would certainly not be complete without it.

And lastly I want to express my immense and heartfelt appreciation to each and every single one of you that has helped me during this journey as Miss Rodeo Utah. These are certainly not just my experiences, but those of all of us together! Thank you!!!
