This morning I met with the Silver Spurs all women’s riding club and Fox News Reporter Big Budah to promote the Days of 47 All Horse Parade that will be held Saturday, July 10th at 10:00 am. The parade is going to start at Sandy Promenade, just north of the South Town Mall. Every spectator at the parade will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a 42 inch flat screen television, Rocky Mountain Raceway tickets, Days of 47 Rodeo Tickets, as well as many other prizes. The Grand Marshall for the parade is Leo the Lion, the REAL Salt Lake Soccer Mascot and the parade will also include entrees like Make a Wish Foundation, Utah State Western Riding Club Association, Miss Rodeo Utah and Miss Rodeo Ogden, Coldwater Gang, and many other riding clubs. Hope to see you there!

Vernal Dinosaur Roundup Special Kids Rodeo
My new friend Daniel, who is 19 years old, was a roping fool at the Special Kids Rodeo in Vernal. The kids were able to rope, ride horses, meet Smokey the Bear, catch fish at the fishing pond, get their faces painted, compete in a potato sack race and many other activities. It was so much fun and everyone had such a great time.
Oakley 4th of July Rodeo
The last night of the Oakley rodeo was packed. I have to applaud the efforts of the Oakley Rodeo Queen Jamie Udell. She is from southern Utah and she has been away from home for three straight weeks to promote the Oakley rodeo at some of the other PRCA Rodeos over the last few weeks. She even volunteered her time to sell tickets and Tough Enough to Wear Pink Merchandise at the other rodeos she attended as visiting royalty. She has gone above and beyond and the Oakley committee should be very proud of their representative. We did the chicken dance with rodeo clown Randee Munns in celebration of her getting to go home and relax for 10 days before she comes back north for the Miss Rodeo Utah competition.
Oakley Rodeo Friday Night
The Oakley Independence Day Rodeo is always one of my favorites. Its close to home and we have a lot of good family friends that live in the Kamas area. Tonight my new baby niece Rawzyn was at the rodeo watching her dad. Don’t tell him, but she has already asked me for lessons on how to be a rodeo queen.
Oakley Independence Day Rodeo
After serving as their queen in 2006, it was nice to be back at the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo for their 75th Anniversary as Miss Rodeo Utah.
US Foods Truck Rodeo
There is something about being up early enough to watch the sun rise over our beautiful Wasatch Mountains on a clear crisp summer day, with a girl on horseback carrying the American flag, and everyone singing the national anthem (accompanied by LeAnn Rimes) that touches the heart, brings a tear to the eye, and makes everyone proud to be a Red Blooded American. I want to thank US Foods for inviting me to carry the American flag at their Truck Rodeo this morning and also for their support of the Cowboy Hospitality Tent at Ogden Pioneer Days and for helping me at my own Miss Rodeo Utah Fundraiser last fall. Your support is appreciated so much.

Strawberry Days Parade and Rodeo
This morning I went to the Strawberry Days parade and had time to hit the mall and have a rest before the evening rodeo.
