Why I want to be Miss Rodeo Utah: "There are two sides to every story. Take history for example. We all sat in our core curriculum classes learning about dull moments of the past. But as Miss Rodeo Utah it would be an honor to be on the bright side and learn and represent rodeo as a whole. Rodeo started as a history for many of us and now is turning into a way of life that we all can enjoy together. While history is continuing to evolve so is the sport of rodeo. I
would like to represent a western way of life that was built on the sure foundation of hard work and strength as it progresses into the future."

This is my time to educate and inform others of the generous support rodeo receives from sponsors . . . A queen is the frontline for organizations, communities, clubs and associations. She can bring information, ideas and be the spokesperson to represent this great sport which is richly devoted to the early heritage of the United States. I am looking forward to the opportunity to be the liaison for our sponsors, supporters, contestants, and all who love the sport of rodeo."

Why I want to be Miss Rodeo Utah: "A young girls climbs onto her first horse and the hopes and dreams of a cowgirl are born. Flags waving in the breeze, families and friends cheering in the grandstands, the power of animal athletes - these images became a passion and integral part of my life. The cowboys and cowgirls are the heroes of the rodeo and provide the spills and thrills. But a queen with a friendly wave, contagious smile, big heart and a passion for and knowledge of the sport of rodeo can connect with fans and increase our rodeo family. To be an ambassador for rodeo, the 'cowboy code' and our western way of life in the great state of Utah would certainly by a prestigious honor and privilege."

A rodeo queen is a symbol, a role model, an ambassador and a representative of what is known to be the toughest sport on dirt. A queen has the chance to give back to the rodeo world what it has given to all of us. She has the opportunity to help people understand the sport, to teach about our western heritage and get others interested and involved. integrity, courage and animal welfare. Why I want to be Miss Rodeo Utah: "When I was a young girl I remember watching the rodeos and telling myself that when I grew up I wanted to be a rodeo queen. As I have gotten older and that dream has transformed into a reality, rodeo has become an even greater part of my life. I have not only fallen in love with the rodeo family I have attained, but also with the sport in and of itself. My hope is that today's generation will be given the unique opportunity to find the support, the love, and even more importantly, themselves, in this incredible sport. By being crowned Miss Rodeo Utah I would devote my whole self to being sure that that opportunity is presented to all those who have dreamt, just as I once did, and be a delegate for the sport that has captivated me.
